This is the letter written to communicated the cancellation of the 2001

Katy Prater
- The 1870 Louisiana Census says her name was
Katy.
- The 1900 Louisiana Census says her name was Katie.
- Several people in the family called her Kitty.
- I believe it was Katie and possibly Katherine.
- There is a minor age difference between the 1870 and 1900 Census
- The person that wrote the information for the 1900 Census thought she was
white and recorded the error
- All Katy's children were born in Bunkie.
- She lived on Old River Road

- Never mentioned his father name (Joe) in his house until he was on his
death bed
